Banyana Banyana Coach Desiree Ellis has named a 20-women squad to participate in the 2020 COSAFA Women’s Championship that will be staged in Port Elizabeth from the 3-14 November 2020.

Banyana Banyana are the defending champions and have won the tournament a record six times, including the last three champions in a row.

Coach Ellis believes she has selected a strong local based squad and players have a chance to prove themselves.

“The COSAFA Cup is for local players and it is always great to give new players a chance to prove themselves.

“I have been impressed with the work that the current crop of players have put in and the pre-tournament week will be an important one for us to polish up before the tournament starts.” said Ellis.
