Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed their travelling squad to Morocco for their opening CAF Champions League group stage match against Wydad Casablanca.

Chiefs will jet out of Johannesburg heading to North Africa via Western Asia, flying from O.R Tambo International and should reach the Moroccan city on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean on Thursday afternoon.

Chiefs are in Group C for the 2020-21 CAF Champions League Group Stage’s will also face Guinean side Horoya and Angolan team Petro de Luanda.

Captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is in the travelling squad and guaranteed to be in the match day squad as Amakhosi are travelling with only two goalkeepers.

Amakhosi are travelling with a squad of 18 players while the rest of the players remain behind to work on preparing for next week’s DStv Premiership games.

The match will take place at Mohammed V Stadium Casablanca on Saturday evening at 21:00 South African time. Chiefs will fly out of Morocco on Sunday and are expected to be back in Johannesburg on Monday.
