Chippa United have announced the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Luyolo Nomandela on a two-year contract.

Nomandela has been playing for the BCM Stars, the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality project team that is currently campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League.

The 31-year-old has already been training with the team and is available for selection with immediate effect.

His first match for The Chilli Boys’ will be against his former side Sundowns at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Monday, 12 April 2021.

Interim coach Siyabulela Gwambi is pleased to have added a player of Nomandela’s experience to the team.

“We are pleased to have beefed up our squad with another player of talent and experience. Luyolo will also play an integral role in our squad for the remainder of the 2020/21 South African football campaign,” Gwambi said.
