Mamelodi Sundowns continue their perfect start to their Hollywoodbets Super League season with a comfortable 4-0 win over Thunderbirds Ladies at the Groenkloof Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Lelona Daweti, Agnes Nkosi, Chantelle Esau and Thebelihle Masibi saw Sundowns strengthen their grip on top of the log, moving two points clear of nearest chasers First Touch.

Daweti struck on the stroke of halftime before second half goals from Nkosi, who headed in a second with ten minutes left to make it 2-0. Then, Esau made it 3-0 in the 86th minute before Masibi scored the 4th on the stroke of fulltime to make it 4-0 at fulltime.

In Seshego, First Touch were grateful to Noxolo Gcina’s 88th minute goal to rescue a point against UWC in a 1-1 draw. Substitute Khanye Xesi had put UWC ahead with 15 minutes left.

On Sunday, JVW got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over TUT at Tsakane Stadium. A goal ten minutes into the second half from Gabriela Salgado and a strike on the stroke of fulltime from Robyn Moodaly sealed victory.
