Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies beat Zimbabwe’s Black Rhinos 3-0 in the final of CAF Women’s Champions League (CAFWCL) Cosafa qualification tournament held in Durban.

The win meant Sundowns have secured qualification to the CAFWCL finals tournament to be held in Egypt.

Lerato Kgasago scored the opening goal for Banyana BaStyle in the 12th minute to give her team a 1-0 lead at the break.

Sundowns continued to apply pressure in the second half and were finally rewarded in the 78th when Nonhlanhla MthandI beat the goalkeeper to a ball just outside the box to finish into an empty net.

Boitumelo Rabale made it 3-0 in stoppage time with a cracker of a striker from just inside the box.

With the win, Sundowns Ladies will represent Southern Africa in the first-ever CAF Champions League tournament.
