The COSAFA cup is scheduled to take place in Gqeberha from 28 September to 9 October 2021.

In contrast to the team that is currently in Lagos, Nigeria participating in the Aisha Buhari Cup, Coach Ellis named a squad dominated by locally based players, with only Scotland based captain Janine Van Wyk, the only overseas based player.
