Kaizer Chiefs have been drawn against SuperSport United in the MTN8 semi-final. The draw was conducted at Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday afternoon straight after Cape Town City’s 1-0 win over Maritzburg United.
The other semi-final will be contested by Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chiefs beat Free State Stars 3-0 on Saturday to advance to the semi-final while Sundowns beat Golden Arrows 2-0 on the same day and SuperSport advancing after overcoming Orlando Pirates 4-3 (2-2 after extra time) on penalties on Saturday evening.
The first leg of the semi-final will be on the weekend of 25 August, while the second leg will be on the weekend of 1 September.
Premier Soccer League (PSL) will confirm exact dates and venues in due course.
