Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named a 36-member preliminary squad for the international friendly matches against Namibia and DR Congo in September 2023.
Bafana will play Namibia on 9 September 2023 and DR Congo on 12 September at the venues yet to be confirmed. These matches are part of Bafana’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire in January 2024, and for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November 2023.
The squad will be trimmed down to 23 players next week when Broos announces his final list for the two matches.
