Cape Town Spurs have announced the appointment of former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns playerBenson Mhlongo as assistant coach.
The 44-year-old Mhlongo replaces Vasili Manousakis who resigned yesterday in order to join Kenya National team as part of Benni McCarthy’s technical team.
Spurs will hope that Mhlongo’s coaching experience in the first division with Black Leopards and TS Sporting will assist them in their fight again relegation.
The Ikamva, Parow based side are currently in 14th position with 19 points, only two points above relegation.
