University of the Western Cape (UWC) coach Thinasonke Mbuli says she is happy with the progress of teenager Tiffany Kortjie who has made an impressive start to her Hollywoodbets super league debut season.

Kortjie has scored two goals in three appearance since making her debut as a substitute against reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns in May 2021.
“Tiffany, she looks tiny and when you look at her, you can undermine her,” Mbuli told Diski Voice.
“The reason why we threw her in against Mamelodi Sundowns is because of what she is doing at training, she is not scared, she is not afraid and she is still young obviously, still teachable.
“I am happy with her progress. I was a little bit worried because she joined us late during our pre-season but because she is young, her fitness is getting better and better but we are yet to see a fit Tiffany.”
