The draw for the Carling Knockout Round of 16 took place at the FNB Stadium on Monday, 22 September.
The draw for the Round of 16 was seeded with clubs that finished in the top eight last season earning an advantage by being seeded, while the other teams were unseeded.
Last season’s champions, Magesi FC will start the defence of their title away to AmaZulu.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates were drawn at home against Marumo Gallants and Siwelele FC respectively, while Kaizer Chiefs will travel Stellenbosch.

This Carling Knockout’s Round of 16 will kick off on 4 October, while the quarter-finals will take place on the weekend of 25 October. The semi-finals are scheduled for 8 November with the final set for 6 December.
