This weekend, 25 – 26 October, the community of Pietermaritzburg will get its first experience of the thrills and spills of a Diski Challenge festival.
The expansion of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, from a 15 to a 30 game league, has seen the PSL Reserve League increase its geographical reach across the South Africa, making the country’s football future generation accessible to new communities.
Table-topping Bidvest Wits, a Mamelodi Sundowns side hot on the heels of the clever boys and the budding local derby between Maritzburg United and AmaZulu FC are some of the teams that will be in action at the Harry Gwala Stadium for a round of 12 of the Diski Challenge.
Tickets will be available at the stadium’s ticket office on Thursday and Friday from 13h00. They will also be available at activation points at Greater Edendale mall, Pietermaritzburg.
Entry is free on both days but members of the public will be issued with 2 tickets for access control.
Gates open at 8am with the first match kicking off at 10am on both days.
All four festival matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport 4 and 10 and on the Community TV channels available on DStv.
