Cape Town City have confirmed the promotion of their Diski team star midfielder Luyolo Slatsha to the first.
Confirming the news through their official twitter account, City said the 21-year-old has signed a long term contract.
“City academy midfielder Luyolo Slatsha has been promoted to the first team, signing a new long term professional contract,” the club announced on the club’s twitter account.
“Lolo”, as he is affectionately known, joined City in April 2021 from Cape Town rivals Cape Town Spurs. He spent the last couple of seasons playing for their Diski team, only making his debut for the first team only in the last game of the current season against Kaizer Chiefs.
