Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze following the end of their two-year contracts with the Club.
Ben Youssef joined Amakhosi at the start of the 2024/25 season as assistant coach to former coach Nasreddine Nabi, who officially left the Club in October 2025. Kaze arrived in October 2024 to be the second assistant coach to Nabi.
Following Nabi’s exit, the duo lead the senior team as co-coaches and guided Amakhosi to an 3rd finish in the Betway Premiership with 54 points.
The duo led Chiefs in 39 matches across the Betway Premiership, CAF Confederation Cup, Carling Knockout Cup, and Nedbank Cup and registered 19 wins, 11 draws, and 9 losses.
Conditioning coach Majdi Safi has also left Amakhosi after the end of his contract.
