Daveyton to host the last festival of the year

After four successful festivals in 2017, the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (PSL Reserve League) will bring the curtain down to 2017 with yet another action-packed festival this time in Daveyton – a place that has produced some of the country’s talented footballers.

This weekend, the Sinaba Stadium will play host to the two-day festival; from Saturday, 02 December to Sunday, 10 December 2017.

The festival in Daveyton will feature eight clubs: Polokwane City, Bloemfontein Celtic, Kaizer Chiefs, Maritzburg United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Platinum Stars, SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates.

Entry is free on both days but members of the public will be issued with a ticket as part of access control. Tickets will be available at the stadium’s ticket office on Thursday and Friday from 13h00. They will also be available at activation points around the Daveyton area. Only two tickets will be allocated per person on a first-come basis.

Seventh-placed side Polokwane City will kick-off proceedings on Saturday morning at 10h00 when they clash with second on the log Bloemfontein Celtic.
Bloemfontein Celtic are on par on points with log-leaders Lamontville Golden Arrows (19 points) with only one goal separating them.
On the same day, Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to climb the log standings (currently 13th) when they play against Maritzburg United at 12h00 (currently third).

On Sunday, the first match will feature defending Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns who are currently rooted at the bottom of the log against Platinum Stars at 10H00.
SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates will close off the festival at 12h00.

All four matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport 4 and 10 as well as on the community TV stations available on DStv.
