The National Soccer League (NSL) on Tuesday 15 November held a successful Quadrennial General Meeting (QGM) in Fourways, Johannesburg.
The QGM deliberated on a number of matters relating to the business of the League including presenting the financials of the previous financial year (2015/16).
In line with Article 27 of the NSL Handbook, the NSL concluded its business by holding elections of the new Executive Committee. The newly-elected NSL Executive Committee will serve for a period of four (4) years.
Dr Irvin Khoza, who was elected unopposed for another term as the chairman of the NSL addressed members of the media after the QGM.
Dr Khoza said: “I feel honoured to be given a new mandate to continue to serve the members. I would like to also welcome the new individuals who have been elected to serve in the Executive Committee. I believe that as the PSL, we are on the right path. We are growing but we cannot be complacent. We are entering a new era whereby it can no longer be business as usual.”
