Mwape Musonda suspension blow for Black Leopards as talisman and captain is ruled out of the all important last game of the season.
The news is a hammer blow to Leopards who are to face title chasing Mamelodi Sundowns this afternoon without their captain and nine-goal top scorer.
Musonda received his 4th yellow card of the season in the 89th minute of their 1-0 win against Bidvest Wits.
Ḽi ḓo ḓa Ḓuvha are 14th on the log with 29 points, one point ahead of Baroka FC, who occupy the playoffs spot.
Musonda is among the 10 players suspended for the finale of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season.
The rest of the suspended players are Justice Chabalala, Mzwanele Mahashe and Ndumiso Mabena (Bloemfontein Celtic), Elvis Moyo and Tercious Malepe (Chippa United), Butholezwe Ncube (AmaZulu), Sbonelo Ngubane (Baroka FC), Abbubaker Mobara (Cape Town City) and Simphiwe Hlongwane (Polokwane City).
