Venda football Academy (VFA) have suspended their head coach Simo Dladla from his duties with immediate effect.
The decision comes after VFA suffered two defeats in a row, 3-1 to Baroka FC and 1-0 to Magesi FC, leaving them in 18th place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 18 points from 18 matches.
Assistant coach Joel “Muporofita” Masutha has been appointed as the interim head coach and he will be assisted by Rowan Hendricks.
Former Jomo Cosmos midfielder, Macbeth Sibaya will continue as second assistant coach.
