Absa: We will give more fans access to the Absa Premiership

Absa Premiership sponsors, Absa, have committed to engaging football lovers even more during the 2019/2020 season in order to encourage them to continue expressing their Africanacity through their favourite local sport.

Absa Group Marketing Head, David Wingfield said they are going to be innovative in their engagement with the fans.

This season we want to continue celebrating their tenacity and ingenuity by engaging with them a lot more often. This time it’s our turn to bring it and as such, will be bringing it through the third instalment of the Woza Nazo campaign.” Wingfield said.

Absa, together with DStv will be ensuring that even more fans have access to more football consistently throughout the season. The bank will be rewarding certain new Absa customers with an exclusive offer that includes a free 12-month DStv subscription, a HD Decoder and installation every single day, for a period of three months. This will ensure fans don’t miss a minute of the Absa Premiership action.

Introducing the Financial Management and Wellness partnership with the PSL
As a bank that believes in finding solutions and gets things done, Absa will further take a more active role in securing the financial future of the players, team management and staff that makes the Absa Premiership tick.

The bank in partnership with the PSL teams will be offering the football fraternity education on financial wellness as well as customer value offerings that will see players, club owners and managers banking smarter. The programme will introduce financial & retirement planning and provide teams with holistic financial planning with a specialist financial planner to help grow and protect their wealth.

The Woza Nazo Wheel
This season’s Woza Nazo campaign will include the launch of the Woza Nazo Wheel allowing fans an opportunity to win exciting prizes during the season. In the build-up to each of the 12 Woza Nazo fixtures, the Woza Nazo Wheel will make an appearance at the Absa activations taking place in the host city where Absa customers can join in on the fun and win instant prizes. Fans who attend the Absa roadshows will also stand a chance to win the sought-after Woza Nazo Red tickets to watch the games live at their local stadium.
Absa will also be working with the SABC, through the SoccerZone Show to allow Absa customers across the country a chance to spin the Woza Nazo Wheel during the live show. Football fans will this season battle it out on SoccerZone by answering Absa Premiership trivia and winning big!

The Woza Nazo Shootout
Woza Nazo match days will never be the same again – the banking giant will be bringing the new and exciting Woza Nazo Shootout to the stadium. Football fans will stand a chance to win instant cash prizes to the value of R 100 000 at each of the selected Woza Nazo fixtures. On match day, five Absa customers will be brought to the pitch at halftime to kick against a legendary Absa Premiership goalkeeper in a sudden death competition until there is only 1 winner.

The Absa Premiership fever will officially begin with the opening fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns vs Supersport United in the Tshwane derby on Saturday. Fans can also look out for the first Woza Nazo fixture of the season on Sunday with Highlands Park vs Kaizer Chiefs at Makhulong stadium, Tembisa.
