The Philippi Stadium in Cape Town will host this weekend’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) festival on Saturday and Sunday.
This is the second MDC festival, otherwise known as PSL Reserve League, to be played in the Western Cape.
The festival weekend is set to take place on the weekend of 16 and 17 January 2016 with three matches scheduled for Saturday and a further three on Sunday.
The first match will kick-off at 09h00 with the last fixture of the day scheduled for 13h00 on both days.
Entrance to the stadium is free. Tickets can be collected from all Western Cape Computicket outlets and Shoprite/Checkers stores. Two (2) tickets will be allocated per person for each match day, on a first come first served basis. On collection, each person will be required to produce a valid South African ID.
On Saturday, 16 January, Ajax Cape Town will kick-off the festival when they host Free State Stars at 09h00 followed by a clash between second-placed Golden Arrows and Jomo Cosmos at 11h00. Orlando Pirates will play Platinum Stars in the last match of the day with kick-of set for 13h00.
On Sunday, 17 January, Chippa United and Maritzburg United will square off at 09h00 and at 11h00 log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns lock horns with Bloemfontein Celtic. The last match of the festival weekend will be between Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits at 13h00.
