Chiefs Confirm The Signing Of Angolan international

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Angolan international defender , Inacio Miguel Ferreira dos Santos, known as Inacio Miguel, from Petro de Luanda.

The 28-year-old centre-back, who has also played five times for the Angolan national team, is the first Angolan to sign for Chiefs.

Miguel is Amakhosi’s fifth signing of the season joining the likes of Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, Bongani Sam and Gaston Sirino.

The defender comes with lots of experience after representing Petro de Luanda in the CAF Champions league and won Angola’s domestic league title last season.

Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr, expressed his excitement after securing Miguel’s signature.

“We are happy to have a player of Inacio Miguel’s calibre join our team,” Motaung Jr told the club media.

“We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Kaizer Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team.

“We believe that he will contribute significantly with his talent and are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa.”
