Cape Town City have announced that they have parted ways with interim coach and Technical Director Muhsin Ertugral.
The 65-year-old Ertugral joined City in January as a replacement for Eric Tinkler. He was meant to be an interim coach until the end of the season before taking over a role of Technical Director.
The decision will not come as a surprise after City failed to win in their last ten games. The final nail in the coffin was a 1-0 defeat at home against Marumo Gallants on Saturday.
“After technical discussions, the club and Muhsin Ertugral have agreed mutually to part ways,” the club said on their social media pages.
“The decision comes as a collective in the best interest of the club as we look to end the 24/25 season as strong as possible.
“We thank Muhsin for his professional and earnest contribution.”
