SuperSport United have fired head coach Gavin Hunt following a string of disappointing results in the Betway Premiership.
This was Hunt’s second stint for Matsatsantsa, and Manage to finish 3rd in the 2022/23 season and 7th in the 2023/24 season.
The 60-year-old Hunt achieved a special milestone in February this year, having reached 1 000 Premier League games as head coach, which is a first in South Africa.
Assistant coach Andre Arendse has been appointed interim Head Coach with Goalkeeper Coach Grant Johnson as his assistant.
