
The National Soccer League (NSL) hosted a Quadrennial General Meeting (QGM) at the Sandton Convention Centre in Sandton, Johannesburg on Wednesday, 13 November 2024.
The purpose of the QGM was to discuss matters relating to the business of the League, including presentation of the annual report of the previous year and consideration for new amendments to the NSL handbook.
Another important reason, In accordance with Article 27 of the NSL Handbook, was election of the new Executive Committee of the league.
The newly elected NSL Executive Committee will serve for the next four (4) years.
Dr Irvin Khoza was re-elected chairperson unopposed.
Rob Benadie of Stellenbosch FC, John Comitis of Cape Town City and David Thidiela of Black Leopards lost their seats from the previous exco and were replaced by Tim Sukazi of TS Galaxy, Sifiso Biyela of Richards Bay FC and Johnny Mogaladi of Polokwane City.
