The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee (DC) found Jomo Cosmos guilty of failing to fulfill their fixture against Cape Town All Stars.
Although Cosmos arrived at the Vasco Da Gama stadium on 31 March 2017 and even went as far as warming up, the match was abandoned as their kit failed to arrive from Johannesburg.

JOMO COSMOS FC: The Disciplinary Committee found Jomo Cosmos FC guilty of failing to fulfil their NFD fixture against Cape Town All Stars FC scheduled for 31 March 2017.
The match was accordingly awarded to Cape Town All Stars with a 3-0 goal difference.
In addition, Jomo Cosmos FC was sentenced to a fine of R 50 000.00 suspended for one year.
The club was also ordered to pay the costs of the sitting.
MTHATHA BUCKS FC: Mthatha Bucks FC had lodged a Protest with the PSL in which they claimed Jomo Cosmos FC had contravened Rule 35.2 (U23) of the PSL Rules during their match on 11 February 2017 by failing to have five Under 23 players present at their match. The Protest was dismissed and Jomo Cosmos FC was found not guilty of a breach of the relevant Rule.
Mthatha Bucks FC was ordered to bear the costs of the proceedings and lost their protest fee.
