Marumo Gallants have confirmed the reappointment of former coach Dan Malesela as their new head coach with immediate effect.
Malesela was coach of Gallants for 2021/2022 season before he was mysteriously released despite qualifying the club to CAF Confederation Cup.
Malesela return to Gallants after a short stint with Royal AM.
Gallants Chairman Abram Sello said the club was “fortunate” that coach Malesela was a free agent at the time they were looking for a coach.
“It was fortunate that Dan Malesela was a free agent at the same time that we, as Gallants, were seeking a new Head Coach,” Sello said.
“After some discussions, the decision was made to welcome him back to the Marumo Gallants family.
“We look forward to the upcoming games with much anticipation, and a positive outlook.”
