Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger de Sa sees no problem with players showcasing their talents and skills, as long as it benefits the team.
This comes after an outcry, especially from Pitso Masimane, the Mamelodi Sundowns coach was baffled by the awarding of the man of the match award to Platinum Stars Masibusane Zongo in their Absa Premiership encounter.
The URban Warriors coach, De Sa says in his playing days there were ball jugglers, who dribbled, and he would not like to call it “showboating.”
“It should be used in the right area, for right reasons, to be part of the game, to eliminate your opponent, it is fantastic,” De Sa elaborated.
“If you use it to get the meat out of a player, you must also expect a kick as well,” De Sa concluded.
