Despite having 20 shots on goal and hitting the woodwork three times, it took an own goal from Chippa United’s defender Gregory Damons to give Amakhosi all three points.

Chiefs dominated the game from the first whistle to the last and were very unlucky to have scored more goals. If it was not the woodwork denying them, it was the brilliance of goalkeeper and captain Veli Mothwa.
