Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has announced the final 23-member side that will represent South Africa at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August 2023.
Coach Ellis also named three standby players in University of Western Cape duo, Amogelang Motau and Regirl Ngobeni, as well as Richmond United forward Nthabiseng Majiya.
Coach Ellis initially selected a preliminary squad of 36 players that has been in camp in Johannesburg since 12 June 2023.

Banyana Banyana is in Group G with Sweden, Argentina and Italy, and they kick off the tournament against Sweden on 23 July 2023.
