KaNyamazane to host MDS semis

The two semi-finals of the 2019 edition of the MultiChoice Diski Shield (MDS) will be played in Mpumalanga next week Wednesday, 01 May 2019.

KaNyamazane Stadium will host both matches.

Semi-final action will get underway at 12h00 with the Tshwane-derby between SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns. Mamelodi Sundowns were last year’s finalists but lost to Kaizer Chiefs by 3-1.

Later in the afternoon, Orlando Pirates, who reached the Diski Shield semis for the first time, will play Lamontville Golden Arrows in the last match on the day at 15h00.

Entry is free on both days but a ticket will be issued to supporters as part of access control. Tickets can be collected at the stadium’s ticket office on Monday and Tuesday (29 & 30 April) from 13h00-18h00. They will also be available at activation points in and around KaNyamazane.
