South Africa international midfielder Luke Le Roux has joined Portsmouth from Swedish side IFK Värnamo for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has joined the English championship side on a three-year deal, which is subject to him obtaining an international clearance and a work permit.
Le Roux played for now defunct SuperSport United in South Africa before moving to Sweden to feature for Varbergs.
He spent a season playing in the Dutch top-flight with Volendam before returning to Sweden last season to join IFK Värnamo where he made 32 appearances for the club.
