MTN8 ambassador and former SuperSport United captain Morgan Gould say Stellenbosch FC is consistently in the top eight because of the proper structure that the club has put in place.
Asked by Diski Voice what he thinks Stellies have been doing right to constantly be in the top eight, and competing in the finals, Gould was adamant that club structure and consistent Technical team are key.
Yeah, it’s the structures that they put in place,” Gould said.
“It’s the conveyor belt that they’ve built, you know, and they lose players, year in, year out, they sell players to obviously the bigger teams that can afford and they also need to look after their business by bringing up youngsters. And it’s a no brainer for them because their structures are proper.
“They keep to the same system, they haven’t changed their coach since Inception. So that also helps for them to go on and do greater things in obviously the MTN8 and it just goes to show that consistency is key.
“They’ve got the consistency in the background staff and it just filters on the field.”
