Orlando Pirates were drawn to host Kaizer Chiefs in the first round of the 2016 Nedbank Cup at the draw held on Thursday evening in Sandton.
We are guaranteed to witness at least four Soweto Derbies this season after Pirates were drawn to face Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup last 32. The Soweto giants have already played twice this season – in the League and Telkom Cup and face each other in the League this coming weekend.
In other clashes involving top-flight teams, Bidvest Wits will face Bloemfontein Celtic with Ajax Cape Town hosting Free State Stars.
The defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns will begin their title defence away at NFD side, Highlands Park.
