Ntseki names squad for AFCON Cameroon 2022 qualifiers

Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki has announced a 26-man squad to face Ghana and Sudan in the AFCON Cameroon 2022 qualifiers.

South Africa will play the Black Stars on 25 March at FNB Stadium before travelling to Khartoum for the final qualify against Sudan.

Ghana lead the Group with 9 points, the same number of points as Bafana Bafana but the West Africans lead on head-to-head after beating South Africa 2-0 in the away encounter. Sudan are third with 6 points while Sao Tome are yet to register a point with two games left.

Ntseki has surprisingly kept faith with Itumeleng Khune, who is one of the three selected goalkeepers with Ronwen Williams and AmaZulu Veli Mothwa.
