PSL Disciplinary Committee Outcome

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee sat last night, Monday, 07 March 2016. Below is the outcome.

CHIPPA UNITED:
Chippa United was found guilty of transferring the loan player Siyabonga Zulu to a club other than the club from whom he had been loaned.

The club was sentenced to a fine of R25 000.00, suspended until the end of the season and were ordered to contribute a maximum amount of R 25 000.00 towards the costs of the PSL enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the initial transfer and registration of the loan player Siyabonga Zulu to Platinum Stars FC.

In addition, Chippa United was ordered to pay its share of the costs of the sitting of the DC.

MOROKA SWALLOWS:
Moroka Swallows was found guilty of bringing the League into disrepute arising from an incidence of crowd violence which took place on 13 February 2016 at Dobsonville Stadium. The club was fined R 50 000.00 of which R 30 000.00 was suspended until the end of the season.

In addition, Moroka Swallows was ordered to make a public announcement before each of its remaining matches over its public address system denouncing acts of crowd violence and informing spectators of the seriousness of acts of crowd violence.

Moroka Swallows was ordered to pay its share of the costs of the sitting of the DC.
