Richards Bay FC have announced the appointment of Vasili Manousakis as their head coach until the end of the current season.
The Natal Rich Boyz also confirmed that Manousakis’ new contract includes a two-year option to renew, but did not provide details of the terms and conditions of the option.
Manousakis, who started the season as a co-coach together with Pitso Dladla, will be assisted by the same Dladla, and Ronnie Gabriel.
“Richards Bay Football Club would like to announce the appointment of Mr. Vasili Manousakis as the first team Head Coach on a permanent basis till the end of the current season, with an option to sign up for two years,” club statement said.
“Mr. Pitso Dladla and Mr. Ronnie Gabriel will remain as the Assistant Coaches.”
Although the club stopped short of providing a reason for the changes, it is clear that the restructuring of its technical team was due to the string of poor results since the resumption of the league post the conclusion of Qatar FIFA World Cup.
