Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has confirmed the withdrawal of four players from an international friendly match against Serbia on 10 April 2023.
Mamelodi Sundowns Defenders Bambanani Mbane and Tiisetso Makhubela withdrew from the camp due to the illness of close family members.
Richmond United forward Nthabiseng Majiya picked up an injury over the weekend during her side 1-0 win over City Lads, while TUT’s Tshegofatso Motlogelwa has also withdrawn from the camp due to injury.
The team will departure for Serbia on Thursday 6 April 2023.
