The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee last night found Bloemfontein Celtic guilty on charges of failing to provide adequate security.
The DC ordered that the match be forfeited to Cape Town City FC with a 3-0 score. In addition, Celtic’s remaining two home matches are to be played outside of the Free State Province. PSL will determine the venues for their last two home games.
The original fixture at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium on April 14 was abandoned by the referee over fears for players and spectators safety. The abandonment was due to riot caused by Celtic fans.
