The urban Warriors meet Bidvest Wits at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night. In fact, the two teams will now play each other three times within the next two weeks, as they were drawn to face each other in the semi-finals of the MTN8.

De Sa will be without Nathan Paulse, Tashreeg Morris, Brandon Petersen, Mosa Lebusa who will miss the clash though injury and Thomas Chideu who is still waiting for his work permit after joining from Highlanders of Zimbabwe.

On injuries, De Sa said: “We do have our own problems, I think every club has but we do have quite a few injured players, unfortunately. Obviously Nathan Paulse, Morris, Brandon, Mosa and we got few other concerns over the game we just played against Orlando Pirates. Few players missed training today (Thursday) and hopefully tomorrow they will be ready to play but at the moment it is touch and go with a lot of players so we are struggling a bit squad wise but we should be able to put up a competitive eleven”

Referring to Chideu’s situation with the work Permit, De Sa indicated they are at the mercy of Department of Home Affairs. “Unfortunately, it is not in our hands, it is not in our control but obviously we doing our best to get him over”

Ajax go into the game with only one recognized striker in the new man, Prince Nxumalo.
