Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the demotion of its Co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi as part of “restructuring of its Technical Team”.
Rulani Mokwena has been appointed as the sole Head Coach with Steve Komphela promoted to First Team Coach (Assistant Coach). Manqoba Mngqithi has been demoted to a Senior Coach role, a position previously held by Komphela.
Sundowns indicated that the changes were necessitated by the poor performances and unconvincing victories that the club has experienced for quite some time.
