Boitumelo Rabale scored a first half hattrick as Mamelodi Sundowns scored a comfortable 5-0 win away to Durban ladies on Saturday afternoon.
Rabale opened the scoring in the 19th minute before adding two more goals in the 33rd minute and 39th minute for her hattrick, to make it 3-0 to Sundowns going into the break.
Khunjulwa Mali did not waste time after the restart adding Sundowns’ 4th goal in the opening minute of the second half. Zanele Nhlapho added the fifth with 15 minutes left for a comfortable 5-0 win.
On Sunday, TUT scored three goals in the final 15 minutes as they beat UWC 3-1 to collect three valuable points at UWC stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Sibulele Holweni gave UWC the lead just after ten minutes with a tap in from Fiona Ndlovu’s pinpoint cross.
TUT captain Busisiwe Ndimeni levelled matters with 15 minutes to go before giving Tshwane based ladies a 2-1 lead five minutes later.
UWC pushed for an equalizer, but it was TUT who scored on the stroke of fulltime through Tshegofatso Motlogelwa to make it 3-1 and travel back to Tshwane with three valuable points.
