2020 MDC kick off at Rand stadium

Following a successful first half of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, the Diski Festival will make a welcomed return this weekend.

The first festival of the new decade will be played at the Rand Stadium on Saturday, 11 and Sunday, 12 January 2020. Gates open at 08h00 on both days.

This is the first time Rand Stadium will get an opportunity to host the Diski Festival.

Clubs completing the festival line-up are: Black Leopards, SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City, Baroka FC, Highlands Park and Kaizer Chiefs.

Sixteenth placed Black Leopards with six points, will kick-off proceedings on Saturday at 10h00 when they clash against SuperSport United.

Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns will play the last match on Saturday at 12h00.

On Sunday, Polokwane City and Baroka FC will play the first game of the day at 10h00. At 12h00, Highlands Park will lock horns with Kaizer Chiefs.

All Diski Challenge matches are broadcast live on SuperSport 4 (DStv channel 204) and SuperSport 10 (DStv channel 210) and on community TV channels available on DStv.

Entry is free on both days but a ticket will be issued to supporters as part of access control. Tickets can be collected at the stadium’s ticket office on Thursday and Friday from 13h00-18h00.
