Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo says he expects a tough match against Baroka FC but believes their first win of the season against Polokwane City on Friday night has given them a winning feeling.
The Urban Warriors travel to Polokwane on Saturday where they will face the inform Bakgaga at Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kickoff is at 15:00.
“In terms of the feeling that we can win games, yes.” said Menzo referring to the impact of their win against Polokwane City.
“It will be a tough match! Knowing them, they go for 90 minutes and are everywhere on the field. We can say it’s not structured, but that’s maybe the danger. You don’t know how to really approach them. So lets try to play our own game.
“I told the boys today, we have to keep possession for longer period, and not go their way of playing because it’s not our style, and not our strength.
“It will be a fight, where we have to fight, we have to fight, where we have to play, we must play.” said Menzo.
Menzo confirmed that they will be missing two players due to injury.
“Prince Nxumalo had a groin strain and didn’t train the whole week, so he won’t travel with us. Innocent Nemukondeni is also not traveling with us, he had a knock on his ankle during an MDC game on Sunday.
“Grant Margeman is a little bit injured but seems okay. We have to take care of him.” concluded Menzo.
