Banyana Banyana international midfielder Linda Motlhalo has rejoined Glasgow City on a deal that will run until the summer of 2026.
Motlhalo left the Glasgow based club in January 2024 to sign for NWSL side Racing Louisville but struggled for game time.
The 26-year-old made 34 appearances in his first stint with the club and scored four goals after joining from Swedish side Djurgårdens IF in 2022/23.
Motlhalo expressed her excitement at rejoining City.
”I’m so happy to be back, this place brings back a lot of great memories,” Motlhalo told his new club media.
“Glasgow will always be like a second home.
“When I first left Leanne and all the staff said if you ever want to come back this will always be home. I didn’t even think twice when they called to say I could come back. When that happened I told my agent that’s where I’m going.
“I’ve come at a time when it’s really hectic and I’ve just come in from off season so it’s going to be demanding for me to catch up but I’ve been watching the games and I like the direction of where the team is going.”
