Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has confirmed that he has turned down an offer to coach his country, Tunisia’s national team.
Nabi revealed that the Tunisian Football Association offered him the head coach role, which he rejected in order to continue with the process to restore Amakhosi to its former glory.
“I’d like to say thank you to Dr. Kaizer Motaung, to Kaizer Jr., Bobby Motaung and the entire management,” Nabi told the media after his team’s 1-0 win over Stellenbosch FC at Athlone stadium.
“I have been offered an opportunity to go coach my country and we have sat together and we have decided that I’m going to pass this big opportunity to coach my country.
“But as well it’s honour to be here and I say thank to everyone from the management.”
