Roc Nation Commit To creating Lasting Impact On Players

The President of Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI), Michael Yormark, says the marquee sports agency’s vision is to offer its athletes 360-degree services to ensure that they leverage their success to plan for their future.

RNSI first established a footprint in African football in 2021 through a partnership with Mamelodi Sundowns before signing the likes of Emile Witbooi, Neo Bohloko and Siyabonga Mabena. In July 2025, they announced an expansion into the Africa football market by signing more promising teenagers from Ghana, Nigeria, The Gambia, Guinea and Zimbabwe.

With many African footballers facing challenges post their careers due to financial mismanagement, and lack of post-career planning, the agency have committed to offering their athletes a 360-degree services that is far beyond just facilitating their transfers to ensure a lasting impact on their lives.

According to Yormark, most agents in South Africa and around the continent only care about the players’ move, the transfers into Europe. Yormark believes RNSI’s vision is very different.

“Our vision is very different, we want to offer 360-degree services, we want to mentor, we want to inspire, we want to guide, we want to make sure these athletes understand that they need to leverage their success in the moment to plan for the future,” Yormark told the media at a press conference in Cape Town.

“We were sitting yesterday with a father of a very well respected prospect here in South Africa, the father is from the Township, and he was telling us that he wants his son to be surrounded by an agency and individuals that can really support his life, his dream, and not only today but throughout the journey.

“He really wanted our full service agency, he wanted an agency that was going to be tough on his son, not make it easy. He did not want his son to get hand outs, he wanted his son to do it the old fashioned way, through hard work and it was encouraging to hear that.

“But it was also encouraging for us because that is what we bring to the table that is unique and different, we truly care about the future of these young men and in some cases, young women.

“Our goal is to make your [players] dreams come true!”
