Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has announced a final 25-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Bafana are in Group B with Egypt, and neighbours Zimbabwe and Angola. Bafana open their AFCON against Angola on 22 December before facing Egypt and Zimbabwe on 26 & 29 December respectively.
Broos has included two of South Africa U-20 stars in Queens Park Rangers’ Tylon Smith and Club Brugge forward Shandre Campbell. Both players are still on 20-years old.
In addition to the 25 players, Broos has selected three stand-by players in Mduduzi Shabalala, Iqraam Rayners and Thabo Moloisane who would come in if any of the selected players pick up an injury.
Bafana will go into camp on Monday, 8 December.
