Cape Town City FC have announce that they will wear special pink kit for their home Absa Premiership match against Baroka FC on Saturday, 15 October, to help raise awareness during Cancer Awareness month.
“The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) plays a leading role in cancer research and cancer control policy development, as well as providing care, support and education to South Africans affected by the dreaded disease. Read City statement.
“CANSA’s purpose is to lead the fight against cancer in South Africa with a mission of becoming the preferred non-profit organisation that enables research, educates the public and provides support to all people affected by cancer.
“As part of Cape Town City FC’s contribution, the club’s PSL team will play in a limited edition pink kit against Baroka FC. In addition, 50% of all corporate suite sales for this match will go to CANSA. ALL women will be permitted free entry for the match at Cape Town Stadium, which kicks-off at 20:15.
