Jomo Cosmos have been relegated into ABC Motsepe League after playing to a 1-1 draw with fellow relegation candidate TS Sporting on Saturday afternoon.
The Ezenkosi needed three points to prolong their status for another week provided other results go their way. However, a draw against TS Sporting as well as a 2-0 win for Pretoria Callies away to Polokwane City condemned them to amateur football with two games left to play.
Cosmos have collected only 22 points from 28 games after winning just three games with 13 draws and 12 losses.
Ezenkosi will compete in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League next season after almost four decades in the National Soccer league (NSL).
