Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies bounced back to winning ways with a convincing 5-1 victory over Durban Ladies in a Hollywoodbets Super League at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Banyana Ba Style came to the game at the back of a 1-0 defeat away to University of Western Cape (UWC) in week four.
Salome Kekana opened the scoring in the first minute of the game before netting her second after 16 minutes to make it 2-0. Miche Minnies made it 3-0 in the 25th minute to give Sundowns a comfortable lead going into the break.
The visitors pulled one back ten minutes into the second half through a penalty converted by captain Onelisa Nanasele.
However, it proved to be just a consolation as substitute Nthabiseng Majiya made it 4-1 with 75 minutes gone before Minnies scored her second in the dying seconds of fulltime to make the final score 5-1.
Sundowns remain top of the Hollywoodbets Super League table with 12 points from five games.
